I think it an intake air temperature sensor. 2008 3500 DRW, EFI with Rob's tunes, PPE downpipe and Flopro 5in strait pipe, HSP Y bridge/egr delete, HSP hot side I/C pipe, PVC rerouted, Fass 165, CTS 2, Trans go jr, Airaid intake. This billet aluminum y-bridge from DPC is great start. Milled out of solid aluminum this bridge has the most flow capability of any bridge we have seen. Features: Intake Port Matched Machining. Offset Inlet (LB7 Style) Works on LB7 & LLY Intake Runners. Has provisions for IAT and 1/8NPT Sensors. The Y bridge i have has a machined grove in the faces where it meets the intake and the seal is held on both sides so it cant move once torqued down to the engine. If you issue is with the oring staying in place while installing the part, i would put a couple dabs of RTV on the y bridge to retain the seals and then install it.Jul 12, 2017 · Install the IAT sensor (2). Why not just have a tuner make you a tune with the lb7 idle and if you want a throatier sound put an aftermarket down pipe. It gets rid of most of the hissing sound the vvt's make.

This next picture shows a LBZ y bridge, and a non emissions LB7 y bridge. the LB7 bridge was not cleaned at all.. this is exactly how we pulled it off the truck. So this comes down to basically if you are content with the inside of your engine looking like the pics above, then leave the factory pcv/egr systems in tact.Thanks. Next issue is the LB7 Y-bridge is fairly small, I was going to hack mine off & go 3" into the Y but the mpi intercooler tubing is small also, so I left it alone. You will need some heater hose to bypass the coolant. and then either blocker plates or a new boost tube for the cold side. pro fab makes a few nice products as far as the boost tube side.
