Have a new to me JD 1760 12 row planter with the factory ground drive. So far when planting soybeans it seems the actual population is lower than the rate chart says it should be. I set for what the chart says should be 118k and the 250 monitor and my actual counts give me around 110k. Looking for the good and bad of a John Deere 1790 planter. Looking at a 16/31 so that I can get down to one planter. Would also want to put a tank on it for starter, am worried about the weight on the main planter with the the starter and the seed tanks.
