I like the Glock 19 much more for a few reasons. One is its much simpler and not a lot to it. The XD is a good pistol but its just a Glock copy imo with more "features" add to it. Did a lot of internet comparisons and all and that really got me nowhere. Fan boys on both sides. So, went to my local range and took my XD sub and rented the 26.The Glock 19 is 6.85 x 5.00. The Glock 17 is 7.32 x 5.43. The Glock 34 is 8.15 x 5.43. The XD subcompact is 6.25 x 4.75. The XD service is 7.3 x 5.50. The XD tactical is 8.30 x 5.50.
